CAVU Cash Solutions Team Welcomes Money Markets Maven Sue Ann Cormack

New York City, February 1, 2023. CAVU Securities, LLC, (“CAVU”) a minority and veteran-owned broker dealer firm welcomes Sue Ann Cormack as Managing Director. Sue Ann joins CAVU from Dreyfus Cash Investment Strategies where she was Executive Vice President and Director of Sales for Dreyfus Cash Solutions, a division of BNY Mellon.
Sue Ann brings over 30 years of solid experience selling cash and fixed income investments to institutional buyers. She begins her role at CAVU on February 1, 2023.

Throughout her years at Dreyfus, Sue Ann was a top sales producer and initiated a money market funds sales campaign that brought in more than $5BN in the first 3 years as a new market for the firm. She is known for her industry insights, thoughtful sales approach best matched with the needs of the investors, and long-standing relationships that underscored her multi-decade success. Sue Ann is intimately familiar with every vertical institutional level market including corporate, bank, broker-dealer, public, not-for-profit, higher education, insurance, hedge funds, et al.
CAVU Securities began the search for a new Managing Director, Cash Solutions, as part of an active expansion of the cash team and to accommodate the rapidly growing product line. The CAVU/Invesco money market share classes had over $13BN in AUM at the end of last year and show no signs of slowing.

Sue Ann holds a B.A. in English and Religion from St. Olaf College and has decades of experience serving her community - a background that aligns with CAVU’s impact-driven culture. In addition to serving as Chair for a literacy program in the Dominican Republic, Sue Ann has worked with deaf people, and served as President for two separate booster groups to support student athletics.
